The 2nd edition of the
ASEAN-India Car Rally has been proposed to take place from 24 November – 21
December 2012.
The purpose of the Car Rally is essentially to
demonstrate, in a very visible manner, India's proximity to the ASEAN. India is
one of two countries that shares a land border with the ASEAN. The rally and
the marker events will enhance public awareness of the current canvas of the
ASEAN-India partnership and further strengthen trade, investment, tourism and
people-to-people linkages.
